MWM DesignGroup is a multidiscipline service firm that provides surveying, civil engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, and permitting. You’ll get to engage with designers and surveyors that are currently working on projects such as pipelines, watersheds, roads, parks, public buildings sites, schools and universities, sidewalks and bike lanes.

We need a survey leader with a strong working knowledge and experience in the following:
- Topographic and Boundary Surveys for public agencies and commercial developments
- Proficient project management, including preparation and negotiation of survey proposals
- Providing high quality design surveys to support internal and external clients for engineering and architecture projects
- Maintaining an efficient and effective team of knowledgeable surveyors
- Continuing the firm’s growth in our current market-share and expand target areas and clients
- Currently serving as a Survey/Division Manager, Group/Practice Leader, or Principal

Experience: You have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in surveying; 5+ in a lead position and project management
Professional: RPLS, Registered Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Texas
Leadership and Team Player: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills
Collaborator: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally; including, the ability to provide technical information in a clear and understandable manner to internal and external clients
Responsibility: Ownership mentality to oversee a robust practice within the firm’s established 40+ year history of providing surveying services
Technical Skills: You are the lead; you will mentor and collaborate with your internal team and established client-base to provide the highest quality design surveys that MWM is known for
Accountability: Ability to remotely prioritize and make decisions independently in a fast-paced production environment

MWM DesignGroup is looking for a self-directed and proven Civil Infrastructure Project Manager experienced with public sector projects or an extremely independent and experience Professional Engineer. You’ll have the opportunity to manage project teams, engage with our clients, and design much needed public infrastructure for the betterment of the Central Texas region.
We offer a variety of project and client types, with a focus on public entities. Recent and ongoing projects include utilities, storm water modeling and infrastructure, roadway, sidewalks/trails, and transit. A few of the notable projects we’ve worked on include: US 183 Bergstrom Expressway utility relocations, City of Bee Cave RR620 Trail, FM 2222 Expansion, City of Bastrop Downtown Streetscape and State Park Trail, City of Austin MLK Boulevard Transit Oriented Development Stormwater Improvements, City of Cedar Park Sidewalk Gaps Phases 3 through 5, and Cottonwood Wastewater Interceptor.
Here’s what we’d like to see on your cover letter and resume:
- 4+ years of experience within public infrastructure engineering (2+ as Project Manager or additional PE experience)
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in Texas; or ability to obtain in 3 months of start date
