MWM DesignGroup is a multidiscipline service firm that provides land surveying, civil engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, and permitting. Our survey crews are currently working on projects such as pipelines, roads, parks, public buildings sites, schools and universities, sidewalks and bike lanes.
What we’re looking for-
Experience: You have 0-2 years’ experience in field surveying
A Team Player: You are an active member of the team and do your best to integrate into our corporate culture
A Collaborator: You like working in a small team environment and don’t mind travel, when necessary
Responsibility: You have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

MWM DesignGroup is looking for a Civil Engineer for our Land Development Group. At MWM you’ll be mentored by experienced engineers in a variety of land development projects. You’ll also collaborate with and learn from other MWM service groups such as architects, landscape architects, surveyors, and permit expeditors. We provide civil engineering for a wide variety of project and client types in both the private and public sectors. Our public projects include parks and recreation, higher education, primary education, civic, and transit; and our private projects include urban infill, multi-family, medical, commercial, retail, and religious assembly, among others. Our clients include architects, landscape architects, government agencies, developers, and property owners. We’ve completed hundreds of projects throughout Central Texas, and we’re very proud of our work!

Here’s what we’d like to see on your cover letter and resume:
- Minimum of 6 years’ of design experience with land development engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree
- Registered Texas Professional Engineer, or eligible to obtain registration
- Knowledgeable of Austin-area land development codes
- Competent with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and stormwater modeling applications such as HEC-HMS, SSA, StormCAD, and PondPack
- Experienced in site, grading, utility, and stormwater design

MWM DesignGroup is looking for a self-directed and proven Surveying Project Manager experienced with public and private sector projects.
You’ll have the opportunity to manage survey projects, engage with designers on public infrastructure and land development projects, working with our team of civil engineers, architects, and landscape architects. - 2+ years of experience as a Survey Project Manager; 2+ years as a Project Surveyor/Coordinator
- Registration as a Professional Surveyor in Texas; RPLS
- Proficiency in project management, including preparation and negotiation of survey proposals

MWM DesignGroup is looking for a self-directed and proven Civil Infrastructure Project Manager experienced with public sector projects or an extremely independent and experience Professional Engineer. You’ll have the opportunity to manage project teams, engage with our clients, and design much needed public infrastructure for the betterment of the Central Texas region.
We offer a variety of project and client types, with a focus on public entities. Recent and ongoing projects include utilities, storm water modeling and infrastructure, roadway, sidewalks/trails, and transit. A few of the notable projects we’ve worked on include: US 183 Bergstrom Expressway utility relocations, City of Bee Cave RR620 Trail, FM 2222 Expansion, City of Bastrop Downtown Streetscape and State Park Trail, City of Austin MLK Boulevard Transit Oriented Development Stormwater Improvements, City of Cedar Park Sidewalk Gaps Phases 3 through 5, and Cottonwood Wastewater Interceptor.

- 4+ years of experience within public infrastructure engineering (2+ as Project Manager or additional PE experience)
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in Texas; or ability to obtain in 3 months of start date
- Proficiency in Utilities/Public Works project management
- Desire to work with others in a team-oriented culture
- Experience with Civil 3D, Bentley StormCAD/CivilStorm, and HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS
