Brandon Hammann, Recognized by the American Society of Civil Engineers Travis Chapter

In celebration of the National Engineers Week 2013, Brandon Hammann, P.E., CPESC, LEED AP, a Project Engineer with MWM DesignGroup, was recognized as an outstanding engineer volunteer by the Austin Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) for his “noteworthy service to the community, direct and positive impact on people’s everyday lives, and serving as a role model for others to follow.”  Mr. Hammann served as the Chair of the Public Relations and Community Service Committees for the Austin Branch over the past two years, tutored math at KIPP Austin Collegiate during the 2011-2012 school year, co-chaired the 2012 Engineer’s Day at the Austin Children Museum, participated as a speaker for Engineering 101 at KIPP Austin Collegiate’s  2012 College/Career Day, and served as a representative for MWM in partnership with the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders’ 2012 Internship Program.  “It’s an honor to be recognized by the organization for this award”, he said.  “MWM shares recognition of this award as the company has fully supported my role in ASCE and the community.  There are several other members who are actively involved with the Austin Branch who could have easily been acknowledged for this award as well.”
