The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) CONRAC provides 1,876 ready/return spaces on three levels with a hardcap level for staging and storage and a 24,000sf customer’s service building on the second level. The design provides a multi-level Quick Turn Around (QTA) facility directly adjacent to the ready/return cars on all three levels, accommodating 58 fueling positions and 14 car wash bays. MWM provided site civil engineering related elements and the surveying needed for design of the site improvements. Additionally, MWM provided civil design related to an off-ramp fly-over, and revisions to existing parking lots impacted by construction. Airport shuttle operations were modified, including relocation of a number of the existing stops and associated ADA parking.
